Our highly successful trophy Spring and Fall Black Bear hunts are over active baits with hunting typically in the afternoons and evenings. Tags are over-the-counter and we offer an all-inclusive 5-day hunt with multiple colored phase opportunities. An Idaho Fish and Game Bear Identification Test is required to hunt Black Bears in Idaho. https://idfg.idaho.gov/hunt/bear-identification. Approximately 50% of the bear population is colored phase black but the other 50% of the population is a mix of Chocolate, Cinnamon (Red Bear) and Blonde.
We keep our camps small with no more than 5 hunters per camp which enables Pinpoint Outfitters LLC to produce quality bears instead of quantity. Our area is a two-bear area meaning each hunter has an option to purchase a second tag during (or before) their hunt. Following a successful first harvest, hunters can choose to continue hunting a second bear at their discretion with a small fee to cover business costs.
